BEFORE YOU WATCH
I watched "Leaving Neverland," and processed it seriously, and quickly concluded it was a legal fraud. I worked as a lawyer for the better part
of a decade, and I understand special pleading, and the signs of a legal fraud.
I am a performer and artist, and filmmaker. And I quickly got the idea to make a film, to expose the fraud with a legal sensibility.
I shot my performance in a night on first takes, and made the main edit to the film the next day. It took me a few more days to polish it -- but I essentially made the film in two days. This was purposeful. I wanted to demonstrate how easy it was to debunk these
allegations, when you present the correct facts, in a wise way, like a legal brief.
This is my video brief. However, as such, I was going for logical
perfection, and not technical perfection. This is a trademark of my art in general. Regardless, keep in mind, I did not make this to be
professional and slick, but to be humble and true. I believe it does something for Michael Jackson, that a million dollar film cannot. It
portrays him in the light of legal wisdom, void of any mechanisms of production to skew the truth.
In other words, this is the antidote to "Leaving Neverland," which uses Hollywood production techniques -- edits, cuts, music cues, retakes -- and so on, to emotionally convince a point, even though the underlying logic makes no sense.
Heaving Neverland is the anti-Leaving Neverland.
HBO blocked this film personally, from being published on YouTube. It attacks powers that be, so this is a fish swimming up a river. Could you please share it with friends, on social media.
Thanks, Justin.
